Relaxing…

Since we didn’t really go through labor the first time, I was pretty nervous about what to expect with this whole labor thing. By the time I returned from getting everything set up at home, Jennifer was having very painful contractions, and that was only the beginning. it didn’t take long to decided to get the epidural sooner rather than later. Now we are relaxing with the lights down and the soothing patter of the baby’s heartbeat in the background. I’m curious to know how much further Jen is dilated. She got to 5cm pretty quickly, so this is actually the partwhere things should begin to progress more quickly. Jen says this is the most comfortable she has been in months.

Mom Is So Good…

She can have a baby in her sleep. She’s napping now while she has the chance. For her next trick she’ll nurse no-handed.
